Business spanish "voto conforme"

Question

I am reading the rules for a company about how changes to the Board of Directors must be done by a majority vote. I'm trying to look up similar documents for Latin American and Spanish companies to see how they word it, rather than simply translating. I keep coming across "voto conforme" in what looks like the right context but I'm not entirely clear on what the phrase means. Does "voto conforme" refer to a majority vote? Or is it something slightly different?

Here is an example of where I have found "voto conforme" in similar documents online

"El quórum para las sesiones de la Junta General de Socios está constituido por la asistencia de más de la mitad de los socios de la sociedad y los acuerdos se adoptan por el voto conforme de más de la mitad de los presentes en la sesión"

Voto conforme means that the vote is valid and it is not a blank vote. Obviously, if you need 10 votos conformes to win the election, you have to get 10 valid votes choosing you.
