It's not incorrect, but I would leave out the ¿cómo estás? when I first meet somebody. Also use accent marks where needed when writing. - Daniela2041, Feb 7, 2017

One little addition. "¿Cómo te llamas? Literally means: "How/what do you call yourself?"
Cómo = how, te = yourself llamas = you call.
