Complete your Profile status and just go through all the lessons, their presented in a way that if you do them you'll learn the Spanish.

I will answer is if you are a newbie to Spanish, period.

Your rate of learning is directly proportional to the amount of time you spend trying to learn. Spend time every day learning Spanish. If you don't, you might backslide, become frustrated, and quit.

Set a goal for yourself. Why do you want to learn Spanish?

Do not measure your progress in comparison to others or else you may become frustrated.

There are many websites devoted to learning Spanish but keep SpanishDict at the top of your list. I especially enjoy the grammar, flashcards, Word of the Day, and Q&A sections. The Q&A forum is especially invaluable because of the information and advice provided by members. Example advice includes: apply yourself to all aspects of Spanish -- reading, writing, and listening. Read your Spanish out loud. Use music as a learning tool.

Find yourself a dictionary you are comfortable with. For personal reasons I prefer the WordReference app but there are many other apps and websites.

If you are a rank beginner and intend to self-learn, I suggest trying the Duolingo app as long as it remains in the present tense.

DragonPharoah, my favorite way to study on SpanishDict is to use the flashcards. I started with the pre-made flashcards and then I made my own. To me, it was super helpful to make a set of flaschards that contained phrases that I used often. Here are the sets I use for that, but you could customize your own so that you are learning phrases you specifically actually say. My sets are probably not completely accurate because I just translate it using an online transelator, but I still learn from them. Good luck!

There are two teaching programs for Spanish on this site. One of which is Fluencia. You can't miss it. It's on the homepage. They give you around 15 lessons to see if you like it, then they charge you a reasonable fee. It is a good system but rather inflexible.
