I would like some ideas on how to translate these expressions: Catch the reading bug!
Spread the reading bug!

I think Vernic meant to write maratón, rather than the English marathon.
Vernic's suggestion of gusano is good, but I think gusanillo might be even better.
This same question was asked on another site:

This was very helpful!
Muchisimas gracias!

You should be start a new post with this question, if you want to get more replies.
In spanish does exist the expression " tengo el gusano de..../ siento el gusano de...., so some spanish expressions could be:
1- Atrapa el gusano de la lectura!
2- Esparse (comparte) el gusano de la lectura!
Where "gusano" is understand as appetite or inquietude.
3- Marathon de lectura de verano.
does any1 know what bounty hunter is in spanish plz
FYI for anyone who is trying to translate this, Read-a-Thon is like saying "A Marathon of Reading"
Hi Valerie, welcome to the forum!
Please, post your word/words in the thread title the next time!
I have moved the thread for you.
Hi! You might try re-posting this on the "Vocabulary" board with "Summer Reading Readthon" in the title. You will be more likely to get a response that way.
