I would like some ideas on how to translate these expressions: Catch the reading bug!

I think Vernic meant to write maratón, rather than the English marathon.

Vernic's suggestion of gusano is good, but I think gusanillo might be even better.

In spanish does exist the expression " tengo el gusano de..../ siento el gusano de...., so some spanish expressions could be:

1- Atrapa el gusano de la lectura!
2- Esparse (comparte) el gusano de la lectura!
Where "gusano" is understand as appetite or inquietude.
3- Marathon de lectura de verano.
