How is cara mia used gramatically
Hi, isn't "cara mia" used as a term of endearment?

"Cara mia" is definitely used as a term of endearment in Italian. It is also correct in Spanish but you need an accent mark over the "i" --cara mía.
Cara mía is not used very much by Spanish speakers. We prefer terms like "mi amor" "querida mía" "corazón" and others.
Here's a link to a BUNNNCHH of terms of endearment. I don't think you'll find "cara mía" in there, but then again I haven't memorized the list.
