I had intended to answer your question yesterday, but it was closed.
Learning about culture is an important part of learning a language. In addition it is an enjoyable way of learning a language. I remember in class watching a video of someone making paella [the traditional dish in Valencia a rice growing area] We then wrote the recipe using 'se' Many of the verbs like 'cocer' were root changing.
I was going to mention sites mainly in English but I see you are learning English and Spanish.
Here are some items about food in Oaxaca [Mexico] where I had an enjoyable stay. The food is very different to Spain
You will easily find recipes for 'tortilla' which is served as a light meal or tapa in Spain. It has easily found ingredients. I use egg, onion and potato but some people say the onion is not needed[NB a tortilla in Mexico is different]
Every region of Spain has different dishes. Seafood is very popular but in much of Spain all parts of the animal are eaten.
I like the podcasts on Notes in Spanish that go from beginner to Gold II advanced, some of them cover food.
The also have a site 'Notes from Spain which are in English. Here is a link to a series of podcasts on traditional Spanish dishes by Marina, they are in English though Marina is Spanish
You may like some podcasts in English by a Canadian photographer who has settled in his mother's home country, Spain. He records them out and about in Spain so you will hear some Spanish
Finally, I enjoy a programme on Spanish TV [rtve] I can access it from the UK and some of it is on YouTube called un país para comérselo It is broadcast from different parts of Spain and is partly travel and partly cooking. The latest programmes have subtitles and a transcript. Some of the recipes are on their web site
Aoun, welcome to SpanishDict. Please fill out your profile, as it will help us help you better knowing where you are and your language proficiency.
As for recipes, here's a site I love. It is focused on food from Spain, not from Latin America. Enjoy!!
I would suggest that you try to google them by going to a Spanish cooking site and/or I would suggest ordering a cookbook off of link.
thank you
