Greenhouse in Spanish?

Greenhouse in Spanish?

Greenhouse is listed as being defined as "invernadero" or "casa verde." Does casa verde have the same horticultural connotation as invernadero, or simply mean "a house that is green?"

Also, does invernadero refer to only big, glass greenhouses, or could it be used to mean smaller, residential fabric greenhouses? Is there a more diminutive word necessary when the greenhouse is not a big glass structure? (example pics of what I mean by residential greenhouses)

Thanks!

"invernadero". Se reconoce en todo el mundo. Es lugar para proteger las cosas (especialmente las plantas) cuando el intemperie no permite su desarollo o aún adelanta su desplomo. "Case Verde" me recuerda de una novela de Mario Vargas Llosa. Era burdel.

"Invernadero"

"De efecto invernadero" seems to be the correct translation of 'Greenhouse'.
