En segundo lugar, debo/quiero (your English translation says "I want" so I'm confused here) practicar cardio. Los fines de semana saldré a pasear en bicicleta cerca del barrio. También voy a hacer jogging (o: a salir a trotar). A veces mi amigo me invita a practicar yoga. Estas actividades son difíciles, pero si recuerdas respirar, es muy fácil. Es necesario elongar antes de hacer ejercicios.

Hay mucha información en todas partes. También, la red me enseñó muchas lecciones. La gente sube videos útiles. Además, mi amigo puede aconsejarme. Es bueno descansar, no quiero enfermarme o cansarme. Más vale prevenir que lamentar.

It would be really nice if you would note note where your Spanish is from. I am particularly interested in the estirarse to elongar change. Your answer sounds very native, I would just like to be able to know from where your preferences come. :) - bosquederoble, Jan 19, 2017
The place to note those things is your profile. :) - bosquederoble, Jan 19, 2017
"Elongar" no se encuentra en mis diccionarios, pero sé que existe. Donde vivo yo, "estirarse" se usa más. - Daniela2041, Jan 19, 2017
Gracias, Daniela. :) - bosquederoble, Jan 19, 2017
Hi Bosque, I am from Argentina. We use both, elongar and estirarse. Although I'd say elongar is more common here. - Diamante20, Jan 19, 2017
Thanks, I use a strange mix of Spain and Mexico with a few random other things in. But I am trying to learn which parts to use with who. :) - bosquederoble, Jan 19, 2017
I think that, no matter what dialect you speak, you will be understood by everyone. But if you're doing it out of interest I think that's cool. I like seeing the differences in English between different countries, it's very interesting! - Diamante20, Jan 19, 2017
Yes, I know educated Spanish speakers know how things are done elsewhere. I remember once asking in Mexico why they used piscina, when alberca was the word there and they said, well we use what we feel like at the moment. :) - bosquederoble, Jan 19, 2017
Fun fact: we say pileta :P - Diamante20, Jan 19, 2017

(Note: I did not try to improve the style or make it more like a native speaker would do, I merely corrected the errors in vocabulary and grammar.) I probably would have used different verb tenses in some places and make other stylistic changes, but then your teacher would be able to recognize that this would not be the work of a second semester student. Buena suerte.)

I really like reading two native speaker manners of fixing it. I learn more from seeing what varies, and what is agreed on. I am glad you entered an answer as well. :) - bosquederoble, Jan 19, 2017
You have a typo in Internet. :) - bosquederoble, Jan 19, 2017
