How would you say something 'has been made..' in Spanish? For example, "shopping has been made easier due to the internet" or something like that? Thanks

shopping has been made easier due to the internet

Most literally:

Some use la for internet rather than el. I think you would use the article, as opposed to por internet which gives my more of a sense by interntet. Hago la compra por internet. I shop by (using the) internet.

You probably could use "debido a" or "mediante" in place of por.

Some might prefer "hacer la compra" over just "la compra".

It might be more natural to do something like:

(a plus el= al if debido is used)

Which may be more in the range shopping has become easier...

I am learner, await native comments on which of my options actually sound better to native ears, I am not absolutely sure on all this.

The internet is making shopping easier."

"El internet está facilitando las compras." is correct too (in the second sense) but I prefer "lleva" o "va".

Could you also say "lleva facilitado" ? I am not sure of the use of "lleva" - margarita1943, Jan 15, 2017
