Preñada vs. Embarazada

Hola chicossmile

The words "Preñada" y "Embarazada" means the same thing which is to be pregnant! I know this.

1- Are there specific occasions in which we only use one and not the other, or no?

2- Why didn't Spanish people stick with Preñada and saved Embarazada for another meaning like embarrassed in English? smile

I appreciate all you thoughts and suggestions!

Hola, Marksteve:

- Daniela2041, Jan 14, 2017
