To "check out" a book from the library is rendered "borrow" a book. That is easily found in the translator. However I have no idea as to what "checking out a book" from work means. Do you also mean "borrow" here? If so just look up "borrow a book from the library on our translator (first page on SD website.)

I believe you mean "check out". "Checkout" is a noun, like the checkout in a grocery store (or any store, including a library). "Check out" is a verb. it can also mean "revisar" or "salir". In this case, however, "sign out" would be a good sinonym.

I presume that you want to translate it to Spanish. I won't do that for you unless you make a good faith attempt as I also suspect that I may be doing you a disservice by offering you a fish instead of teaching you how to fish.
