Conjugating past tense with "think that"?
Is this translation correct? Dory thought that her day was very fun. "Dory pensó que su día fue muy divertido."
I am confused as to whether or not I should conjugate the "was" or leave it alone.

At times, when expressing a feeling or an opinion, "estar" is used. So not to contradict what Julián has said, as he is a recognized expert in Spanish on this site, but just to add my two centavos' worth.
Dory creía/pensaba que su día estuvo muy divertido.
The thinking about the day probably happened after the fun, so it makes more sense to say: Dory pensaba que su día habia sido muy divertido.
