How would I say:

I prefer jeans to pants.

Its a different way of saying I would rather where jeans, but I have to include the verb preferir in my sentence.

If you look at preferir here, you'll find

preferir algo (a algo) - to prefer something (to something)

and the more specific

preferir el té al café - to prefer tea to coffee

So... what exactly do you need help with?
