Spanish paragraph about my winter break. Please help?!

Mis vacaciones fue muy diverti porque yo estaba pasando tiempo en mi casa. Yo jugue el baloncesto con amigos en a la parque. También nostros ejercimos en el gimnasio. Yo come el chocolate y el pollo y la papa frita descanso. Durante el fin de Semana yo fui mi padre casa. Yo pase tiempo con mi hermano vimos el futbol americano en la television. Yo el video jugue en ps4 2k17 porque su mi favorito desporte y me tranquiliza abajo.

Please help me I know I have lots of errors.

Inasmuch as the rules of SD require the English version as well as the Spanish, could you please give the English version. This is for the benefit of: (1) The person who is correcting your work. Sometimes the Spanish gets rather garbled and it is difficult to figure out what you are trying to say.

(2) We have Spanish speakers also on the site that want to learn English and this will also help them in comparing the two versions.

Some of your stuff is rather garbled but, as a teacher familiar with the common mistakes made by those learning Spanish, I could easily fix it. But I am obligated to abide by the rules.

Even though you have quite a few mistakes, most of your text can be understood.

But what is very confusing is that the first sentence seems to indicate that you spent your vacation at home and the following sentences say you went to other places to do things. I suggest that you say "some of your vacation time was spent at home" if this is in fact what you mean.

My vacation was very fun because I was spending time at home. I played basketball with my friends at the park. Also we exercised together at the gym. I ate chocolate, chicken, and chips all break. During the weekend I went to my dads house. I spent time with my brother watching football on tv. I played video games on ps4 2k17 because I like basketball a lot.
