Letra en "La Tortura"

¡Hola!
Escuchaba la canción "La Tortura" por Shakira, y encontré la letra "mejor te guardas todo eso." Pienso que la letra significa "(it is?) better you keep all of that to yourself." ¿Por qué se utiliza la palabra "guardas" en lugar de "guardes"? Parecía ser un uso de una expresión impersonal.
