A few more examples [ past tenses]
Hola Sorry for asking you the same thing the 1000 _ 0 time but I see that not only I struggle with this one.I'm quite sure I've finally known the rule that helps me to choose the right tense. We use imperfecto when we talk about an ongoing action during which something else happened. It's soooo basic but if those are okay - it means it works.
1.Viví en eso apartmento cuando estuve en Barcelona.
Esto ha sido el primero partido de Real en mi vida y por eso me gustó tan mucho.
No he ido a Londres este año porque estaba enfermo.
He hecho todas las cosas que tenía pendientes.
EDIT: Once more, just to make it clear.
- Quería hacer una pizza, pero no la hice, porque no tenía tiempo - I asked you a very similar question lately, but notice that I haven't put ayer here - is it okay now?
I'm I right? ![]()
Muchas gracias

A ver...
"Viví en ESE apartamento cuando estaba en Barcelona.". I lived there during the time that I was in Barcelona. It was the only apartment that I lived in while I was in Barcelona. Simple! But, if you moved around while you were in Barcelona, you might use "vivía". For example, if the next sentence were, "Luego me mudé a la Rambla para...."
Am I still at the Real game? In that case, the second part should be "me gusta mucho". If he game is over and I left and I'm making commentary to my friends, I would say, "Era el primer...., y me gustaba mucho."
"No he ido a Londres...." I haven't gone to London, but I might before the year ends." "No fuí a Londres..." "I didn't go to London this year and I don't plan on doing so."
"He hecho todas las cosas...." "I've tied up all the loose endings that I had pending." I don't think there's anything more to be done. "HIce todas las cosas...."I tied up all the loose endings that were pending.". I am absolutely sure."
Please excuse the loose translations. I did them on the fly.
