Como estas
Welcome to the forum. We always appreciate it when people fill out their profile, it helps give some inkling of how to respond to their questions. Please give consideration to doing so.
Simply writing "como estas" as a title and the body of your question is not perhaps the best way to communicate; it leaves much to be guessed at as to what you want.
There are many ways to interpret this. One is to assume you are a beginner in learning Spanish, and meant "¿Cómo estás? " and either are simply asking that, or want a translation (how are you, informal), or want to know how to respond to it.
The other is that you saw "como estas" in the middle of some sentence, and want to know what it means (like these). For example: He visto cosas como estas: I have seen things like these (ones). (Some would prefer an accent on the e there éstas, but per the RAE it is no longer necessary, but if I added any plural feminine noun there, there would not even be that consideration).
Perhaps there is some other intent I cannot even guess at. And as you profile is not filled in, perhaps I should not even assume you can understand my English.
One of the main purposes of any language (perhaps the main purpose) is to communicate successfully.
It's actually "¿Cómo estás?
If it is actually: "como éstas" (with or with out tilde) as Bosque suggests, then it would mean "like these" (referring to feminine people or objects.)
Those who answer questions should know their Spanish a little better. We have total beginners who are trying to learn and we don't want them to get confused.
Or maybe you really do mean "como estas" in which cause you're trying to say "like these" (talking about feminine people, places, or things).
Como estas means How are you. You can reply with yo estoy bien or Estoy bien.
