How exactly would I say "My eyes and hair are dark brown"?

Because eyes is plural and "hair" in English doesn't really take the plural form here, it's just confusing me. I know I could say "I have dark brown eyes and hair" but with the sentences I have to write for my assignment, it ends off reading more as a list instead of more natural language. Would what I'm asking even be a correct way of saying it in Spanish, or is it too literal of a translation from English?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I think you'd say "Mis ojos y pelo son marrones oscuros." I think this is because it doesn't matter whether the ojos or the pelo are singular - the only thing that matters is that what the "dark brown" is describing is plural. Hope this helped!

Thank you! That's what I thought it would be, but I think I was overthinking it! - aSlightDrizzle, Dec 3, 2016
