Object Pronouns with Conocer

¡Hola!
If I wanted to say "I don't know her" using object pronouns, would I say "No la conozco," or would I say "No le conozco"? I was taught that the word "a" implied that we have to use indirect object pronouns (like with "No conozco a ella"), but the "her" in this case seems to be a direct object.

You've got it correct. "No la conozco. "No conozco a ella" is also grammatically correct but not common.
