I want to say " I want to entertain people"

Would I say : "Quiero entretenar a los gentes"

or

"Quiero divertir de gentes"?

Make an attempt. We don't do homework here. We will help once you've made an attempt. - rac1, Nov 27, 2016
It's not a homework it's a project and I formed the sentence myself I tried to search but I dont know if the word that you use for entertain depends on where or when - Fabiana_, Nov 27, 2016
The verb is "entretenEr" not "A R." and "gente" is feminine and is used in the singular. - Daniela2041, Nov 27, 2016
@Daniela2041 Thank you :D - Fabiana_, Nov 27, 2016

I want to say " I want to entertain people"

For this entretener is only verb you should use:

Las gentes is a very old way of saying family members and not used much anymore, but in your sentence it must be as Daniela said: singular and feminine.
