Welcome to the forum. Can you put on your profile your level in English and Spanish? I assume fluent or advanced for English and beginner for Spanish. Some people here are learning both languages. It is only a rough guide and most people having joined leave the level where they put it on their profile.
As for your problem - if you are doing an exercise in the preterite you know some Spanish [in addition to the many words, if you are an English speaker that we have borrowed from Spain]
It looks like your exercise is only testing your knowledge of the preterite and not testing imperfect or present perfect the other past tenses you will learn.
Spanish has a lot of different tenses and if you want to speak and read Spanish you need to learn them so that you can say things easily.
This exercise is easy but may take you some time. Just as you learned your first language by listening to it then saying things lots of times so learning Spanish takes time and effort. I could fill in all the blanks but you wouldn't learn anything. On the front page of this site if you type in the verb it will bring up all its uses then if you scroll down you will find all the conjugations. Look for the one that agrees with your subject
Your first one is yo [I] and trabajar which is a regular ar verb = trabajé NB the first person ends in é the accent is important. The third person ends in ó so hablo is I speak and habló is he spoke. The nosotros form for ar and ir verbs is the same as the present tense.
When you look up sacar and buscar [11 and 12] you will find they are irregular for the first person only. Often in Spanish it is just altering the spelling so they sound correct.
When you start using the preterite you may have more questions which we will try and answer
