How do you conjugate doy for a formal command? I'm having a hard time finding anything on doy for formal commands.

Look at a conjugation table for the verb dar and you will find all the conjugations, including first person singular doy.

"Doy" is the first-person singular present indicative of "dar," which is the infinitive. Always look up a verb by its infinitive. In Spanish all infinitives end in "ar," "er," or "ir." As Julian said, look up "dar" in the conjugation tables and scroll down until you see "imperative." There you will find the forms to use for affirmative and negative commands.
