There are many things you can do at a beach in summer: You can contemplate the Spanish words you may know like swim, the sea, sand etc.; Find a sheltered spot and read a Spanish textbook; If you're into electronics you can take a tablet or your phone to the beach and do some online lessons; There are some great beaches in Spain and Latin America too. If you are lucky enough you could visit one and speak some Spanish with the locals. Beaches are great in the summer.

Seriously though. Make an attempt and people will help you correct any mistakes.
