"perecer" question of

I saw this sentence on an advertisement for tea: "Perecee con una taza de te." The English was: "Hang out with a cup of tea."

I'm curious about the use of the word "perecee" here, obviously meaning "to hang out". But is that used commonly? I refers to being lazy, but "perecer" means "to perish", not "to be lazy".

What's going on here?

I would take this as "Perece con una taza de te" means "perish with a cup of tea", or in other words, they are saying "die in happiness".

Translation is seldom literal because one wouldn't actually hang out with a cup of tea. Translation is done to accommodate the understanding of those listening.
