reflexive verbs in the gerund?

Ayúdenme por favor!
I want to say 'it was left in on the beach, rusting in the sea air'
I've got 'se dejó en la playa' but I can't work out how to conjugate 'oxidarse' in the gerund?
oxidandole? oxidandose? or just oxidando..?

That is becuse it is not a gerund. you are really saying .. and "it was" rusting in the sea air' - ian-hill, Oct 30, 2016
