"justification of the modern day coach"

"justification of the modern day coach"

Hi, everybody!

I need to translate the phrase in the title with the greatest possible accuracy. My try:

"Justificación del coach de hoy"

What do you think? I use "coach" because the word "entrenador" usually refers to a sports coach, and the context here is coaching as a form of personal development...

Thanks in advance!

It sounds OK, but if you don´t want to use an English word you can use preparador or amaestrador. It seems however that coach and entrenador are both used equally in sports between the two languages.

Also note that hoy could give the impression of just the day of today rather than "these days", so hoy en día would provide better context.

Yes, but here in Argentina we use the English word "coach" instead "preparador". And definitely not "amaestrador", which apply to animals... - Aparraud, Oct 14, 2016
"hoy en día" sounds perfect, thank you! - Aparraud, Oct 14, 2016
