How would you say this phrase in Spanish?
"If you don't mind, I'm going to start texting you in Spanish because I need more people to practice with."

I think there are several ways to phrase this into an idiomatic way in Spanish:
- si no te importa
- se te da lo mismo
- si no te molesta
- si te es indiferente
To be more formal, just replace te with le.
Full sentence becomes,
- (...), voy a comenzar a enviarte mensajes en español porque necesito más gente para practicar.
- (...) porque necesito más gente con quien practicar español. (= more idiomatic.)
You can say textear, but that comes from the foreign word to text and it's very informal.
The way I would say it is
Si no te molesta, voy a emperzar a escribirte en español porque necesito practicar mi español con más personas.
