Are there any flashcards on the Spanish alphabet, like how you spell a letter in Spanish or how you would say a certain letter? I can't find any but it would be really helpful because I'm lost. Thanks.

If you put the letter in

http://www.spanishdict.com/translate/g

After the top there is a sound icon that you can press to hear a pronunciation- the Spanish follows the one with the article

la g

NOUN

  1. (letter)

a. la g (f)

The name "Georgina" begins with a g.El nombre "Georgina" empieza con una g.

b. la ge (f)

Is "gente" written with a g or with a j?¿"Gente" se escribe con una ge o con una jota?

There is also this lesson here with a graphic description of how to make the sound:

http://www.spanishdict.com/topics/show/114

I will bring the first four over, see the lesson for the rest:

a ah

Close to “ah.” This sound does not exist exactly in English, but a close approximation can be found by saying “my” omitting the last “ee” sound.

b beh

After a pause or the letters l, m, or n, it sounds much like an English b. However, in all other cases, the lips do not even touch, producing a more whisper like sound almost close to the pronunciation of the letter v.

c ceh

Sounds like k in most cases. Before e or i, it sounds like an s (or th (thick) in many parts of Spain).

ch cheh

Sounds like the ch in "cheese" in English.
