There are many native English speakers here, most of us can offer great suggestions to the English sentences. I will do my best to go through them all, too. For the Spanish sentences, edit your posts according to the native Spanish speaker's suggestions. Quizás Chicago sea conocida coloquialmente como la ciudad del viento porque los vientos racheados frías de lago Michigan pero creo que el origin del término se refiere a la retórica que carente de sentido de los políticos de Chicago.
Perhaps Chicago is known colloquially as the Windy City because of the cold gusty winds off of Lake Michigan but I think the origin of the term refers to the meaningless rhetoric of Chicago politicans.
