Your English variant is a little confusing, but for the Spanish I would say (with some options): Claro que (por supuesto) nunca voy de vacaciones sin mi maleta (mochila), móvil (celular), o pasaporte ya que son necesarios a (para) que llegue a mi destino de manera segura.

Sometimes in English, we say phone to refer to cell pone. Can we say teléfono to refer to cellphone in Spanish as well? - Ramonaspiker, Oct 2, 2016
"A que" / "para que" are the same ... For me, "teléfono" is a land line phone, but this could be regional. If you want to be sure, you should use "celular" or "móvil" to avoid any confusion - 005faa61, Oct 3, 2016
