How to insert a link.
I thought, that this might be of interest to someone who like me had no clue about how to do a link. Several people tried to help me, but I couldn't get it from their instructions. So I worked on it and came up with the following.
You may want to test it a couple of times before actually using it in a question or an answer.
Here is how I figured out how to do it. The mods can probably come up with something simpler, but here goes:
After you have written your material in the answer box and you want to insert a link, using the "next tab" feature on your browser,
(1) go to the place that you want to link to,
(2)Select what you see in the address space at the top of your browser. You select by sweeping your mouse through the entire address.
(3)Then go to the "copy" button on your browser and click on it.
(4) Now return to your original tab that has your answer, Space down a couple of times (using "enter")
(5) Click on the little globe, at the top of the answer box, and you will see a drop down with an address space in it.
(6) Click in it to make sure you have a "l" in the address space.
(7) Now use the "paste" feature to paste the link into the address space. It will appear there. Click (OK) The drop-down will disappear.
(8) Finally you will see a [enter description of link here] Type in whatever you want.
You're done with the link. Do any final work then click on "Answer"
