What is the difference between the pluscuamperfecto and the pluscuamperfecto del subjuntivo? How do I know when to use one or the other?

Hi.

Can you please add to your profile some information about your language knowledge? Are you fluent in English? What's your level of Spanish? It will help people help you.

You ask about pluscuamperfecto and pluscuamperfecto del subjuntivo, but your title is Habría vs. Hubiera, and habría is conditional.

Did you mean to ask what the difference is between, for example, había estudiado and hubiera estudiado? If so, do you understand, generally, the difference between the indicative and the subjunctive?

Sorry, I know you want answers, but I have only questions.

Great answer, Jt! Yes, you have to ask for more questions to clarify what the questioner really wants to know in these kind of situations before you can give any precise answers that hit the spot! ;) - FELIZ77, Sep 13, 2016
For this reason, It is I M P E R A T I V E that we have their language levels. For an advanced student I could give my answer in Spanish with examples. If intermediate, I would answer in English, but with examples in Spanish. If a beginner, I would advise - Daniela2041, Sep 13, 2016
him/ her to forget about it until he gets to a higher level. - Daniela2041, Sep 13, 2016
