Upgrade to no-ads version on multiple platforms

Hi. I have SpanishDict on my iPhone and my iPad and I use both platforms on a daily basis. Yesterday I bought the non-ads version from my iPhone and ads disappeared immediately, but not on the iPad. I re-installed, but no change. Do I have to buy upgrade on each platform?? Happy to recieve any advice.
