Question about girlfriend/boyfriend
So I know how to say "do you have a boyfriend?" It's "¿Tienes un novio?" But how do you say "Does she have a boyfriend?" like if you're asking a friend. I also know "¿Estás soltero?" is "are you single?" and "¿Está soltera? is "is she single?" So what would "Does she have a boyfriend be?"
Also, if you want to make it clear the gendered person you're talking about in the question, how do you say it? For example, do you say, "¿Está ella soltera?" for "is she single" or "¿Esta él soltero?" for "is he single?" ¡Gracias por la ayuda!

Soltero is mainly a noun; so use "¿Es (él) soltero?" For a girl: "¿Es soltera?"
However, some people regard soltero/a as an adjective of "state of being" so está is also OK.
"¿Tienes un novio?" Means "Do you nave a boyfriend"
To say does he/she have a boy/girl friend use, "¿Tiene novio/a ella/él?"
You came pretty close in your answers.
What you need to do is learn the difference between "ser" and "estar" so check out my article entitled "A simple outline on ser and estar." It's on the Q&A page.
Also you need to restudy conjugation of verbs.
We have a great study on conjugating verbs, on this site. Just go to the home page, scroll all the way down until you see "grammar," click on it and scroll all the way past all the other subjects until you come to the section on verbs. There a a LOT of articles there. Maybe more than you want. ![]()
Buena suerte.
