Descuida and No te preocupes, any difference?

Hi guys, I know descuida and no te preocupes both mean dont worry. Are there any differences between the two? Thx

They mean the same. I use both.
Note that descuida is being used as an imperative, that's why it carries the same meaning like no te preocupes.

I agree with Oshnaj, but be careful. When descuidar is not used in imperative, it means to not be attentive, not take care of, be distracted.

We normally use this as people doing it, ie:"El policía descuidó del testigo así es que lo pudieron matar los narcotraficantes". With noise we would use "distraer" - 005faa61, Sep 5, 2016
