Welcome to SpanishDict. We ask that all new members complete their profiles with their native language, and what level of Spanish you feel you are, like, beginner, intermediate, etc. as well as gender. Proper capitalization and punctuation are mandatory. - rac1, Aug 29, 2016

This is your second question, so perhaps you could add to your profile your language level in Spanish and English. I assume you are a beginner in Spanish.

Tener means to have but there are some expressions which in English use to be but in Spanish use tener.

Ser and estar are the two verbs to be. There are lots of guides and answers already on this site. If the site search engine doesn't work put see + estar + Spanish.dict answers.

Put each verb in the translater on the home page, if you are then still puzzled ask another question.

I am having difficulty adding links as I am using a tablet.

Buena suerte

rac1 has said proper capitalization and punctuation are mandatory; she should have added spelling. "Cuz" is not a word. See here for idiomatic uses of tener: http://spanish.about.com/od/usingparticularverbs/a/tener.htm - jtaniel, Aug 29, 2016
