This information you can find in our reference grammar, but I'm putting it here because it will save both you and us time in posting questions and answers on this matter.

The plural of "el" is "los". The plural of "la" is "las"

If a word ends in a vowel (a,e,i,o.u) just add "s" to form the plural.

If a word ends in a consonant (all the rest of the letters) just add "es"

EX el hombre--los hombres. La mujer, las mujeres.

There are some exceptions where the word already ends in "s" but usually just adding "es" will give you the plural.

Ex. El país, los países
