Hi,

Does anyone know of a site like this one, but that specializes in Latino Spanish, as spoken in S.America?

Thanks!

Mark.

Spanish is Spanish. There's a reason each country doesn't have their own language named after them, but that they have dialects. The biggest differences that you'll find are about the same as those between US, England, Australia and, occasionally, India. - codyandrews1993, Aug 28, 2016
Listen to Daniela, though. She knows what she's talking about and has a good head on her shoulders. - codyandrews1993, Aug 28, 2016
Hi Mark, welcome to SpanishDict. I see you haven't completed your profile. Would you add the languages details to it, please? - rac1, Aug 28, 2016

There are no other sites like this one in any language. By the way, there is NO such thing as South American Spanish. The Spanish of Argentina is way different than the Spanish of Ecuador or Colombia especially in the rhythm and pronunciation and even vocabulary.. Venezuela also has many differences in pronunciation.

Like I said in my earlier answer to your other question. Get the "textbook" Spanish. Go to wherever you're going, and pick up the local vocabulary and expressions there. It worked for me. I knew peninsular Spanish, but Mexicans understood me and I understood them. I had to learn a few new things, but no problem.
