What is "mié" in Spanish?

I have recently set the language on my phone into spanish and noticed the word "mié." I cannot find a translation for the word and would like to know.

It is an abbreviation of Wednesday. "miércoles" mié Wed ".
Or you may have it mixed with the Italian pronoun "mie" which means "mine" .
