Que se os está viendo el plumero
Read this comment on a forum today and am wondering if someone can explain what it means. For context the person was complaining about the double standards of the local authorities in allowing one organisation to run concerts into the early hours while another was fined for playing music late at night. I believe this comment was directed at the authorities.
Que se os está viendo el plumero.
I understand it to mean literally something like "(I hope) that the feather duster is seeing you" but can someone explain the grammatical construction as I thought the subjunctive would come into play if my literal understanding were correct.
And also is there any explanation for the idiomatic meaning?
ps. I assume it is an insult but sorry if it turns out to be a vulgarity.

Se le ve el plumero is an expression to know what someone is up to/ see them in their true colours. I assume the second English expression is from the military use of colours - in the UK we still have a ceremony called Trooping the Colour. I have read that 'plumero' refers to hat decoration / plume in army relating to your rank and unit.
This is of course a partial answer!
