Addressing people with "de la" surnames

I am writing a formal letter to someone in Spanish and am not sure how to structure the address. I know that with a typical Spanish surname, I would address the person by their first last name. However, how do I address someone whose name is, say, Sofia de la Puente? Would "Estimada Señora Puente" be correct?

The "de la" part is still included in their last name. I have a friend from Guatemala and her last name is "de León". People would always address her with that as her last name. I believe it goes the same way in other Romance Languages (works the same in Portuguese).
"Estimada Señora de la Puenta..." would be most correct to say.
