Learning method
Hi everyone
I am wondering about everyone's learning methods. When I first started to learning English, I only focused on Listening and Speaking first, then only get to the grammatical things few years later when I already speak fluently, that make sense right, otherwise my brain will keep thinking about the grammar all the time when I speak and would be afraid of making a mistake.
So when I started learning Spanish, I kind of want to do the same way but the hardest thing is there is not so many Spanish in town as far as I know so I rarely have a chance to practice (especially the irregular verb conjugation) I only can practice by doing heaps of exercises on the internet but the other hand I afraid of this might slow down my speaking skill, but it's the only way now to get the hang of using verb conjugation.
After a month practising on this ( check out this verb drill, quite useful http://www.studyspanish.com/cgi-bin/verbs/verb_drill.cgi) I quite getting close to and familiar with all the Spanish orthographic-changing. I process it more faster and correct with those irregular verbs changed in the Yo form or not changed in the Nos and Vos form, but problema is I still not remember the verb :-( not sure if everyone has the same problema
Thanks

Hi Dang , I don't see anything wrong with your method , each of us works at a pace
and a method that we are comfortable with , yours works OK for you so great.
Allow me to make a few improvements to your first paragraph , it is not definitive
but I have simplified it for you and given you something to work with, it is not
in any way a critique Dang merely a "leg-up".
Eres un compañero de leyenda.

A wonderful learning method is "The Pimsleur Approach" It is a totally audio method, whereby you are taught words and expressions aurally, repeat them, to get the pronounciation right, then you are given oral exercises whereby you supply the answers. The speaker comes in right after you with the correct answer so you can see if you didi it right. If you will Google "Pimsleur Approach" you will learn more. You can get the materials either at Amazon.com, or on ebay.
Several of our members on SpanishDict have used this method with great success.
There are courses in almost all popular world languages.
