1) What's the difference between pompis, pompas, and nachas? 2) Is one better than the other when speaking with my young children? (Ex: Please sit on your bottom) 3) Would you use one of these terms or trasero when speaking with adults? (Ex: The chair was hurting my behind)

So far as your profile Liz your level of English and Spanish is helpful eg advanced or fluent English beginner or intermediate Spanish. Country where you are based is helpful as some of the words are used differently in Spain to Mexico - Mardle, Aug 8, 2016

This one is funny smile ok, Pompis is better used with kids, as "touchies". pompas... let me put it this way, you will listen to this word on a "PG" TV show. trasero means butt literally.
