I use the US International Keyboard, which does not interfere that much with the English, and allows everything but an upside down exclamation quite easily and is fairly easy to learn and get used to. :) - bosquederoble, Jul 31, 2016

Gracias.

I haven't worked out how to do ñ on my laptop - I can do everything else but our teacher recommended a programme called Lexibar. You download it and open and use it when needed.

Lexibar

It has other languages

I can do it easy , I will post the method later on . - ray76, Jul 31, 2016
"Ñ" is to the right of "L" using Spanish keyboard. For windows: go to control panel, region / languages, select, set default language. You will then have a language icon on the taskbar right side - 005faa61, Jul 31, 2016
If you hold your finger down on the letter you want a series of options comes up , slide your finger up and pick the one you want and "voila" ñ is there , you can do it here also but here it is the mouse that you move up. - ray76, Aug 1, 2016
I will have another go but I am talking about a non touchscreen laptop. If I use my tablet I know how to access all characters - Mardle, Aug 1, 2016
Both JulianChivi's solution (change languages, type one character, change back) and Lexibar require taking one's hands off the keyboard and using the mouse. Many (including the OP, I think) find this slow and awkward. - jtaniel, Aug 1, 2016
