Our Friendship!

Our Friendship!

Hello my friends!

I wish you all enjoy the best of times!

I was trying to add a line in Spanish to a story I read in a newspaper, just to practice a bit. I wrote;

Juan: " Temo que nuestra amistad sea algo temporal, que dura un tiempo y después se acaba...Eso es lo que temo lo más."

I did not use a dictionary, and I think I used the correct words, yet I doubt the grammar and structure of the sentence.

In English, I meant to say something like;

Juan; "I fear that our friendship is a temporary thing, that lasts a while and then ends... That is what I fear the most"

I sincerely appreciate all your suggestions!!smile

I would use subjunctive also for durar and acabar because you fear those things as well - they may happen or they may not.

Rather than "Eso es lo que temo lo más", I would say "Eso es lo que temo más que nada".
