Question on translation

Question

If I wish to say: The Spanish accent varies depending on the region you are in, would I write: El acento español varia dependiendo de la región en que estés.

Can somebody please clear this up and if possible, give an explanation and a better way to write this.

I think you could say: El acento español varía según la región donde estás

I am not fluent nor 100% certain so you may wish to wait for confirmation before using it
