Error in test

Question

The feedback form isn't working, so I'll report it here instead.

In the test "Irregular and stressed past participles", I entered "freído" as the past participle of freír, and that was marked wrong, telling me that the correct answer is "freído/frito". Surely I shouldn't be marked wrong for this?

I don´t remember ever using or hearing freído in my entire life, it sounds anglosized to me. A much more common variant obviously is frito. My guess is that the test wants you to know both variants, but you´re right that your answer is correct.
