How to find the SpanishDict lessons.

Question

Finding SpanishDict's lessons isn't totally straight forward, so this will hopefully help anyone (like myself) who has been confused by the current website design.

When you click on SpanishDict's home page options the drop down list includes a "lessons" option. Click this and you will come to a page dominated by an ad for Fluencia, the pay course created by the team behind SpanishDict. Two green buttons top and bottom of page labelled "Get Started!" will take you to the Fluencia course. By all means click on these. The first few free lessons are very good, but be aware that after these are completed paid membership will be necessary to continue.

To begin SpanishDict's free course, however, you must instead click on the picture labelled "SpanishDict Video Course." You can (currently) find this under the heading "More Ways to Learn" located half way down the page.

This advice is in no way intended to discourage people from using Fluencia, but is only intended to help people find the SpanishDict lessons, as they can be easily missed (they eluded me for over a year! ).

And actually the easiest way is to simply click on the menu at the top, left of the page and from the drop down, click on "Learn Spanish." Then scroll down to the pic of Paralee on the right.

Oh, and yep. Your easiest way is what I was describing. It's the temptation to click big green buttons that makes it harder to reach. And if you click that green button and end up in lessons you can wrongly think that you have :) - jellonz, Jul 6, 2016

I never noticed this way, which is probably the easiest. What I have done in the past, to give my students extra instruction is to point them to this link.
