Improper use of baja?

Hi, I stumbled across a comment that said
"Los de sub español siempre somos los ultimos jajaja nuestra lengua es tan baja jajajajajja"
I am not sure how baja is being used in this context.

baja is being used as an insult (like base, low, stupid, without value, ignorant) in this sentence. There are a lot of uses of this word besides short. http://es.thefreedictionary.com/bajo
