Todavía puedo recordar cuando el tío de mi esposa nos visitaba durante un Cuatro de Julio y nos dijo "no estoy seguro de que yo debería celebrar este día con ustedes, los colonos". Pero sospecho que los Británicos se han alegrado de que estuvieron para salvarlos durante un par de guerras contra los alemanes. Feliz día de la Independencia.

I can still remember when my wife's uncle was visiting us during one Fourth of July and told us "I am not sure that I should be celebrating this day with you colonists." But I suspect the British have been glad that we were there to save them during a couple of wars agains the Germans. Happy Independence Day.
